The first track  from MamaMormon is the original edit from O Professor & O Phalosofo.

The second track is Phalovich’s personal approach.

We just used random sentences from a book “explaining” the secrets of the Bible and from there we just created de soundtrack.

What the Book tell us about the dead is cozing. As we’ve been told the dead suffer no pain. Don’t fear the dead they can´t harm us. We can´t help them and they won’t help us.

I can’t feel no better…

Enjoy!

After last jam this just came out of our brain. We’ve been feeding it too much. It’s becoming a monster!

We used the usual stuff -the 3 little Korgs – micro, electribe and kaosspad- and the headphones for feedbacks and noise.

So here we are again back from deeper inner lysergic Space.Long time no see…

This wasn’t to be a podcast (as always). This was the result of the last jam/rehearsal for our first live gig tomorrow @ Groove Bar in Lisbon. We decided to assume this project and accept a live act for a gig with only 2 weeks for preparing something (because we didn’t have any songs to play) and with Ró (aka André from Lor3nz) with no pratical knowledge about the machines we were suposed to operate!

So, after a brief pratical explanation of the possibilities of the Electribe Mx and 5 rehearsals, we prepared some soundzzzz for a free improvisation jam.

We recorded every 5 jams we had. This podcast is the last one – a free electronic kraut post-avant-garde improvisation somewhere where you turn left @ Pluto and you meet Kung Fu Joe. Better run for your mind. Feed your head, Feed your Head…

Professor (aka Phalovich) — subliminar ‘zeldoxanax’ soundzz, vocals, ‘weedneedmore’ noise, happydisco, live sampling, effects, loops — MicroKorg; Vocoder; KaosPad

Phalosofo (aka Ró) — DaftKraut beats, Cage Barrett atmospheres, dirty noises, distorted vocals, live effects, live sampling, ‘wishuwerehereHendrix’ feedbacks — Electribe MX; KaosPad; Headphones as a microphone.

PlayList:

1- Depressão PostNatalícia (KrautVersion) _____ PostXmas Depression (KrautVersion)

2 – Depressão PostNatalícia (VocalVersion) _____ PostXmas Depression (VocalVersion)

3 – Turn Left @ Pluto (AcidMothers Version)

4 – Turn Left @ Pluto (LaLaVersion)

5 – White Snails (Snails on Coke)

6 – Zeldox com Xanax em Fundo Branco _____ Zeldox with Xanax on White

7 – InterMerda _____ InterShit

8 – Space is the Place

9 – Fresh Mint

Epilogue – FeedBack (we better take our medication fast)

MyKrautSpace Mix – an innovation in the art of mixing

The Story:

We were looking for some friends to add to O Professor e o Phalosofo myspace page. As Markus and Eric know my computer is a little bit “retarded” and i really don’t help pushing it to the limit. I had 4 myspace pages opened at the same time and the computer just frozen, playing all the songs of the different pages at the same time. That was really a revelation in the mix-art and in, what we can call, live spontaneous performance. I didn´t know the songs but they all did fit together at the same time – sounded like a new “song”. And it was funny because each myspace was from solo projects from the musicians of Acid Mothers Temple – what made sense at the time.

Materials and Methods:

Althought i didn’t know the songs, it sounded really nice and i decided just to record it with creative recorder from windows as i was listening. The only mixing that i did was what was possible with myspace songs – start, stop and volume! Sometimes you can hear the mouse clicks when i close a page and open another or when i go from a page to another. I used 7 different myspace pages “mixing” different songs from each other.

The pages were:

Oh (!!!!) and Damo Suzuki (aka Waterrrrr) has been playing with this guys in the Acid Mothers Temple.
